Kitchen Table Social Media Workshops

Kitchen Table Social Media workshops are small, friendly and fun - hopefully maximising how much you learn. With a maximum of three participants, each 2.5-hour session aims to equip you with a particular set of social media or blogging related skills as well as hands-on experience, and you'll often leave with a strategy, plan or action list to continue what you've learned beyond the workshop.

And yes, there will be cake.

Current scheduled workshops are listed below - you can click through the titles for details and email Amanda to reserve a place or for further information. Courses are held north of the river in Perth.

Customised Training

My entire career has focused on adult education and training and I hold a Masters of Education degree from Monash University. When social media and blogging became the new essential tools for business, I was thrilled to be able to combine my love of teaching adults with one of my favourite hobbies. I am available to run customised training courses for your organisation. Past courses include:
  • Becoming a blogger (using Google's Blogger platform)
  • Safe social networking (focus on parents)
  • Optimising your online presence (for freelancers and small businesses)
  • Introduction to Facebook and Twitter
  • Social media overview (half day course for librarians)
  • Online learning in the classroom (secondary school)
Please feel free to contact me with your training needs and I can put together a proposal for any social media or blogging-related course.
